ZORWILD Focuses Its Humen Factory on Custom Hoodie and Streetwear Manufacturing for Global Fashion Brands

The shift reflects what brand customers are asking for. Streetwear labels increasingly want heavyweight fabrics, vintage wash effects and dimensional decoration. Those finishes are hard to deliver consistently when washing and decoration are split across several subcontractors. ZORWILD handles fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing, garment washing, printing, embroidery and quality control within its own facility in Humen Town, a major center of China’s garment industry.
“Brands don’t come to Humen just for sewing. They come for the finish. A heavyweight hoodie lives or dies on its fabric weight, its rib, and how it behaves after washing. That’s why we keep washing, printing and embroidery in-house and inspect every stage,” said Tesla Luo, International Business Manager at ZORWILD.
Hoodie production capabilities
ZORWILD produces pullover, full-zip, oversized, boxy, cropped and sleeveless hoodies, including private label hoodies for streetwear brands. Fabrics include 100% cotton fleece, French terry, brushed fleece, and organic and recycled cotton, in weights of about 300 to 450 GSM.
Wash and dye finishes done in-house include acid wash, vintage wash, snow wash, enzyme wash, garment dye and pigment dye. Decoration options include puff print, chenille embroidery, 3D embroidery, screen printing, DTG printing, reflective printing, rhinestones and rubber patches, along with branded trims such as woven labels, hang tags, custom drawcords and YKK zippers.
Beyond hoodies, the company produces custom T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, varsity and bomber jackets, activewear, denim and dresses.
From family workshop to full-package manufacturer
ZORWILD began in 1998 as a small family garment workshop. The founder’s father was a master cutter, and the founder entered the industry at 16, working in cutting, sewing, finishing and quality control. The company became a one-stop OEM manufacturer in 2005, began working with international brands in 2008, and today employs more than 200 skilled workers with monthly capacity above 100,000 units.
How production works
Brands typically start with a tech pack or design concept. ZORWILD’s development team recommends fabrics and construction, produces a physical sample for approval, and then moves to bulk production. Quality control runs at six points: raw material inspection, in-line checks, measurement checks, decoration review, final inspection and packaging audit. The company also handles export documentation and air, sea and express shipping.
The company says this structure is especially relevant for newer streetwear labels. Keeping washing and decoration in-house, approving a physical sample before bulk production, and inspecting during production rather than only at the end are among the main factors that affect consistency in custom hoodie manufacturing.
